Coming from a family of keen gardeners, it was no surprise that I too was bitten by the bug. I attended Sparsholt College and achieved the RHS Level 2 and Level 3 Diploma in the Principles and Practices of Horticulture. I have also attended a garden design course at Waterperry Gardens.

Following a period volunteering in several gardens, including RHS Wisley, I completed an apprenticeship under the Work and Retrain As a Gardener Scheme (WRAGs) with Alison in 2019 and have continued to work with the team at Florence Gardening since then.

When not working I like walking, reading and pottering in my garden. I enjoy the challenge of growing flowers from seeds, my favourite being sweet peas. They are the perfect cut and come again flower, look beautiful in a vase and fill the room with their perfume. I enjoy the variety of working in different gardens and seeing how they grow and change throughout the year.
